The Angry Parasite

Today, we’ll address the second parasite we need to get out of our lives, the angry “man”.

The angry person is angry at everyone and everything and takes it out on those around them. They get angry at the drop of a hat. You never know when they are going to go off at you. This type of person is the second most dangerous parasite you will encounter in life. We’ll name and address the most dangerous one in a later blog.

The Bible says in Proverbs 22:24-25, Don’t befriend angry people or associate with hot-tempered people, or you will learn to be like them and endanger your soul.

They will only feed your own anger and weigh your soul down. Hanging around them and allowing them into your inner circle will only lead to trouble.

In Proverbs 29:22, we read An angry person stirs up conflict, and a hot-tempered person commits many sins. And his sins will cause you grief.

The angry person will leave you feeling stressed out and always on edge. They will infect you with their anger and you will find yourself feeling angry and short with people all the time and not sure why. They will steal your joy, if possible, and replace it with anger and hate.

They will take their anger out on you and convince you that you deserve it. They will slowly cause to you hate yourself and life. They may not always become physically violent, but will be passively aggressively violent.

They want you to think like them, act like them, be like them and view the world like they do. They want to turn you into them.

Flee this type of person and don’t look back! As it is written, flee every appearance of evil.

I used to be this type of person. I was angry at everyone and everything. Until one day a really good friend of mine looked at me and said “You have an anger problem! And until you learn to do something about it, we can’t be friends with me anymore!” That was the best thing he could have ever done for me!

This friend is a very kind, patient person that is not easily made angry. So when he got angry enough to tell me that, I said to myself “man, my anger really must be out of control in order to have p****d him off!”

I then went to counseling and learned ways to control my temper. One of the things I had to learn to do is cut angry people out of my life. As we read in Proverbs 22:24-25, we shouldn’t keep company with angry people lest we learn their ways. And I don’t need to learn how to be angry, that comes naturally.

I have to surround myself with calm, even headed people.

In order to have a healthy fulfilling life, you need to purge the angry parasites from your life, and ask Yahweh to cleanse out the anger toxins, that they’ve been pumping into your life, out of your soul and spirit. The surround yourself with calm even headed people who will teach you how to control you temper.

Don’t be afraid to talk to a counselor if you need to. There’s no shame in doing so.

Don’t let these toxic parasites destroy your soul or your life. Flush them out of your life.
